内容記述 | Two different transient response techniques, the transient response method and TPR, are applied to analyse the detailed structure of the intermediates which are stably formed on a silver surface in the oxidation of acetaldehyde. Analysis of the product distribution in the transient response method clearly shows that the intermediates consist of at least three different species : silver acetate form, acetaldehyde form and alcohol form. The TPR technique newly proposes two additional different species (designated In-α and In-β), in addition to the three species from the transient response method. Both species react with O_2 to produce CO_2 and H_2O, whereas they do not react with H_2. In the TPR spectra in the O_2 stream, In-α and In-β give peaks at 115℃ and 150℃, respectively, indicating different reactivity. | |||||
