| 内容記述 | Frequency tuning range of on-chip RF VCOs are narrow due to parasitic capacitances. This paper presents a technique for extending the variable frequency range of VCO, by using negative capacitance circuit to cancel out the parasitic capacitance and a capacitor. The negative capaciance is realized by using an negative impedance converter(NIC). Frequency limit of the proposed negative capacitance is analized theoretically. We applied the negative capacitance to a VCO succesfully but with small parasitic oscillation in its oscillation mode. | |||||
