| 内容記述 | Stress and strain tensors, the equilibrium equation in terms of the stress tensor and transformation laws for the tensors, in orthogonal curvilinear coordinates, are presented. The components of the tensor are defined as covariant components of second-order tensors, which are identical to stress and strain components. The invariants of stress and strain, and the principal stress and strains in the orthogonal curvilinear coordinates are obtained from characteristic polynomials and eigenvalues of the tensors. The transformation expressions of stress and strain components among cylindrical, spherical and rectangular Cartesian coordinates are obtained from the transformation laws. | |||||
