| 内容記述 | The impulse breakdown voltage for a quasi-uniform electric field irradiated with a βray of about 2.5 mCi of Sr^<90> was measured under pressures from 5 to 50 kg/cm^2 in a gas mixture of He-PO_2. This gas mixture is used in the sea bottom habitat as artificial air. The β ray source at 8 cm from the electrode axis irradiated a gap of 1 mm. The impulse ratio under these conditions increased with increasing pressure and became saturated at about 20 kg/cm^2. Under conditions of the β ray irradiation at 2 cm from the electrode axis, the impulse ratio was nearly constant with increasing pressure at each of the gaps from 0.5 to 2.0 mm. while this ratio decreased suddenly with an increase of the gap length at constant pressure. | |||||
