A cellophane tape or a polymer sheet with birefringence exhibits interference color by polarizer. This experiment is easy to demonstrate, and easy to understand visually. We produce new coloration teaching materials using squared poly-propylene sheet. This coloration teaching materials help us to understand the polarization effect and birefringence. |
