内容記述 | Deformation processes and accumulation of dislocations in metal microstructures is a matter of importance both in terms of solid mechanics and material science. On the basis of continuum mechanics, we can model the processes of generation, interaction, accumulation and annihilation of dislocations and the quantity evaluated by these models are called the statistically stored dislocations. At the same time we can evaluate the density distribution of dislocations in accordance to the spatial gradient of plastic shear strain distribution on crystal slip systems and these are called the geometrically necessary ones. Models for the evolution of the statistically stored dislocations include two important parameters of mean free path of dislocations and annihilations distance of them. Although the density of the geometrically necessary dislocations is defined in unambiguous manner, quality of data, which are obtained by numerical analysis, depends rather sensitively on the spatial resolution of the analysis. Deformation in metal microstructures is inherently non-uniform in every aspect. Non-uniform deformation at the grain-size length scale originate from two and three dimensional mutual constraint between crystal grains and non-uniform distribution of dislocations within the grain interior arises not only from the non-uniform deformation of grains but also from interactions of dislocations. Approaches from crystal plasticity analysis for the prediction of dislocations' behavior and their structures in metal microstructure and some related ones are briefly discussed. | |||||||
