 note = {It is well known that a chain matrix of a reactance two-port has the property that A,D are real numbers and B,C are purely imaglnary numbers. We present a new proof of this fact by using only chain matrix theory, which has been proved traditionally within a framework of admittance matrix or impedance matrix theory.
