In this study, effects of aspect ratio and end plate on fluctuating lift acting on a circular cylinder in a uniform flow were evaluated by standard deviation of lift data. Then, the asymptotic decreasing process of fluctuating lift was investigated by towing circular cylinders with different aspect ratios in still water.
