In this study, the cylinder is operated near a wall in towed or swung motion to investigate the effects of interaction with the wall on the nonrecursive characteristics of fluctuating lift. The effects of the interaction were evaluated by standard deviation of ensembly collected lift data at each towed distances or swung angles.
