The purpose of this project is to restore the rich natural envi-\nronment that had been lost in the straightening, while maintaining the channel\n\u2019\ns function of enabling\nfloodwater to flow away safety. Such a channel is known as a\n\u201c\ntwo-way channel\n\u201d\nas it has two passages,\nand has a diversion weir installed downstream from the divergence point to facilitate the flow of water to\nthe meandering side. This study presents a method of creating a computational grid for two-dimensional\nanalysis of such a two-way channel.
