| 内容記述 | In Japan, City Planning Law has been amended toward “the Compact City”. Municipalities will regulate and lead the location of big stores by land use regulations from now. This paper examines the techniques and subjects for regulating large-scale retail development, and introduces the difference of contribution to local economy between locally owned stores and big stores. It is necessary to work out the countermeasure by the growth management or smart growth against the large-scale retail development. | |||||
