I show that the focus affects the phonological phrasing so that it may delete phonological phrase boundaries to the end of the sentence, but not to the beginning. I argue that those effects of focus receive a principled account in terms of Multiple Spell-Out that applies in a cyclic manner within a bottom-up derivational approach to narrow syntax (Chomsky 2000, 2001a,b, Collins 2002, Uriagereka 1999, Epstein et at 1998).","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_2_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"35169","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"土橋, 善仁","nameLang":"ja"}]}]},"item_2_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.19000/0000006961","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_2_publisher_32":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"北見工業大学"}]},"item_2_rights_12":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"北見工業大学, Yoshihito DOBASHI, 人間科学研究 = Studies of Human Science, 2, 2006, 65-75."}]},"item_2_select_15":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_select_item":"publisher"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"open access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"DOBASHI, Yoshihito","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"35168","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-11-22"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"5070.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"131.3 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"5070.pdf","objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://kitami-it.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/6961/files/5070.pdf"},"version_id":"2df04154-8404-4cf2-9d83-9ade7a025bf9"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Cyclic Spell-Out, Phonological Phrasing and Focus","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Cyclic Spell-Out, Phonological Phrasing and Focus","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"2","owner":"1","path":["63"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2007-04-19"},"publish_date":"2007-04-19","publish_status":"0","recid":"6961","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Cyclic Spell-Out, Phonological Phrasing and Focus"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2022-12-13T02:20:23.715653+00:00"}
