The ”Silan ring” porous ceramics support was available to immobilize microorganisms, maintain higher mechanical strength and provide a stable rate of alcohol production even at higher dilution rates than 1.2 hr^<-1>, without wash-out. The forced cyclic operation of reaction temperature yielded an increase of 25% for amino acids and 35% for organic acids.
