A porous ceramic membrane tube （α-Al_2O_3，d＝14000Å，φ＝10mm，L＝10cm）is used for the reactor and an La/MgO-catalyst is supported into pores in the membrane by an impregnation technique. The pore size of the membrane could be reduced up to 1000Å, by increasing the number of impregnations.
