The constraints considered are the power supply probability and the environmental pollution. The proposed method decides the output power at each time interval and the start-stop pattern of the thermal units to economically satisfy these constraints. To use the multistage choice process, the Markov-like character of the daily schedule is investigated, and it is explained that it is not kept strictly but kept approximately. The daily schedule is optimized by being repeatedly modified. The modification is the change of the operated state of a thermal unit at a time interval. A model system is used to simulate the proposed method. Results are investigated to confirm the usefulness of the proposed method.}, pages = {39--46}, title = {Probabilistic Operation of Electric Power Systems Considering Environmental Constraint (Part 12)* -A Decision Method of the Optimum DSS Schedule-}, volume = {19}, year = {1987} }
