In this paper, an experimental study of two-dimensional bent-over buoyant jets which are characterized by a component of buoyancy normal to the flow direction is reported. The experiments were conducted in a hydraulic flume using Laser-Doppler Velo-cimetry (LDV) and resistance thermometrv. Storing curvature of the jet streamline was found only at the initial part of the jet’s development and the trajectories of the maximum velocity points are straightlined for the rest of the jet's development. A component of buoyancy normal to the jet’s centerline was found to case strong effects the mean and turbulence properties of the inclined jets.}, pages = {113--127}, title = {LDV Measurements in Two-Dimensional Bent-over Jets (Part II) -Buoyancy effects on the turbulence structures of buoyant jets?}, volume = {17}, year = {1986} }
