The numerical method which is quantitative and available to the simulation of a discharge between parallel plates is extended and applied to the discharge between the sphere and plane electrodes in the present paper. The streak diagrams of the light output obtained by the simulation in the case of negative polarity show that, when the field is weakly nonuniformed, a rapid propagation of luminousity front towards the cathode will appear but under a stronger nonuniform field, a luminousity propagation occurs in the opposite direction. The role of each of the two fast secondary processes, i.e. photoionization in the gas and photoemission at the cathode, in the discharge development is also discussed and it is suggested that the latter process becomes dominant in the discharge of positive polarity as the nonuniformity is largened.}, pages = {85--93}, title = {球対平板ギャップにおけるN_2過渡放電の電算機シミュレーション*}, volume = {11}, year = {1979} }
