This system, including the L.L. course, is planned to give students the moderate communicative competence in German, while it has been neglected in the traditinoal system. In the new system, however, a great care must be taken in selecting texts and materials. Since recorded materials already involve the programming for learning, the materials of foreign origins are not adequate for Japanese students who have generally lesser motivation for speaking German and live in worse linguistical environment compared with European students. Another decisive factor for getting communicative competence is the fitness of the programming. In this respect, materials now available in Japan are not suitable. The frame of the traditional grammar in which they are edited does not synchronize with the learning process in the audio-visual method. Besides, it requires much hours for explanations so that it must be replaced by better one, e .g., Minimalgrammatik proposed by F. Hundsnurscher, which consists with the development of the communicative competence and is good for the audio-visual use.}, pages = {123--138}, title = {工科系大学におけるドイツ語教授法の改革と諸問題 (第1報) -「耳と口による」授業への転換における問題-}, volume = {9}, year = {1977} }
