Surface area, acidity, and catalytic activity have been used to characterize the catalyst. The rate of addition of ammonia, final pH, washing of precipitate, temperature of heat-treatment, and kind of aluminum salt were found to affect the nature of the resulting catalyst. Aluminum phosphates obtained from nitrate and chloride(N- and C-AIphosphate) had higher total acid amounts and larger surface areas than aluminum phosphate obtained from sulfate(S-AI-phosphate), but the latter showed higher catalytic activity than the former. The former catalyzed the dehydration of n-butanol to form ether rather than olefin, while the latter catalyzed selectively to form olefin. For the Former, the 1-butene content and the ratio of cis- to trans-2-butene were higher than the equilibrium values; whereas for the latter, there was a clear trend toward a decrease in 1-butene and an increase in the 2-butene isomers as the conversion increased. The effects of final pH and washing were remarkable for S-AI-phosphate.}, pages = {203--212}, title = {沈殿法によるリン酸アルミニウム触媒の調製とその n-ブタノール脱水反応活性}, volume = {8}, year = {1977} }
