The periglacial geomorphic phenomena in the eastside of the Daisetsu Mountain mass are classified into (i) alpine features above 1400 m ;(ii) frost-shattering,concen trated between 300 and 400 m ; and (iii) verved clay, below 300 m.  The precise connection between welded tuff and subsurface cold anomalies still leaves some basic questions unsolved, and is left for the future study.  The formation of an ice-shove ridge along the beach of Okhotsk has reasonable connection with the cold climate of Kitami District and also with the occurrences of low level periglacial geomorphic phenomena there.}, pages = {139--159, PL I-IX}, title = {湧別川流域の周氷河地形現象 : オホーツク海岸のice-shove ridge}, volume = {6}, year = {1975} }
