Recently there has been much interest in the Transient Stability of a multimachine power system, because Transient Stability has an important effect on the operation of a power system.  In accordance with the development of the Modern Automatic Control Theory,The second method of Liapunov has interested many persons, who have applied it to Transient Stability Analysis.  In order that the Second method of Liapunov may be applied to Transient Stability Analysis,we must constitute a scalar function which satisfies Liapunov conditions and is called a Liapunov Function In this paper we propose a new Liapunov Function that is modified from EI-Abiad's Liapunov Function.
