Experiments of freezing of water which was filled in steel pipes were carried out and the results were obtained as follows. 1) The rate of ice formation, at freezing of water filled in steel pipes, was constant out of relation to the diameter, until thickness of ice grew up to one half of radius of pipes. 2) Mathematical solution (8) expressed approximately the phenomenon of ice formation, except for the experimental results were no agreement with Eq. (8) because of temperature distribution in water at the initial period. 3) The periodical variation of temperature on ice surface and the distribution of temperature in ice under the condition that the surface temperature was constant, were expressed approximately by Eq. (1) and Eq. (4) respectively}, pages = {1--10}, title = {充水鋼管の凍結時における永の成長速度について*}, volume = {2}, year = {1967} }
