Three oxydizing methods (Treibs' reagent, chromic acid?acetic acid，chromic acid?pyridine) were examined in this process. Six methods were studied to obtain the esters of d-β-methyl isobutyryl-n-valeric acid (Benzyl, β-Phenyl ethyl, d-Citronellyl, Geranyl, l-Menthyl, Bornyl, 1, 3-l-Menthyloxy propyl, 1-β-Phenyl ethyloxy 3-l-Menthyloxy propyl, 1-Citronelloxy 3-l-Menthyloxy propyl).
