Then, regarding the specifications for highway bridges, there is also a way of thinking that adopt twice the reaction force. This study constructed a finite element model for a simple steel girder bridge. And the shear force generated in the bolt was compared with the design value. From analytical results, the shear force was less than 50% of the design value, adopting twice the reaction force in analytical model.
