Direct-current electrical conductivity measurements and impedance measurements indicated that these 1D Cu(I)–Ni(II) heterometal coordination polymers were insulators ( σ 300K \u003c 10 ?12 S cm ?1). In addition, the coordination polymers were used as sensitizing materials in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs).
